Encana Corp., one of Colorado's biggest oil and gas companies, on Tuesday said it's boosting spending for 2015 and will increase its oil production.
The Canadian company said it planned to spend between $2.7 billion and $2.9 billion in 2015 — up from between $2.5 billion to $2.6 billion that Encana (NYSE: ECA) said in November it planned to spend for 2014. Encana's regional headquarters are in Denver; the company employs about 1,000 people in Colorado.
