Xcel Energy inc.'s Colorado customers will see lower monthly electricity and natural gas bills in the first quarter of 2015, based on lower fuel costs, the utility told state regulators Monday.
If approved by the Colorado Public Utilities Commission, Xcel's (NYSE: XEL) electricity bills are expected to drop about 1 percent for the average residential and small-business customers during the first quarter of 2015 compared to the last quarter of 2014, the Minneapolis-based utility said.
