Barely 48 hours after Gov. John Hickenlooper named 19 people to Colorado’s new oil and gas task force, several members gathered at the Governor’s Mansion near downtown Denver for the group’s first meeting Wednesday evening.
“It’s the first meeting,” said Mike King, the executive director of the Colorado Department of Natural Resources.
“It’s to see if we can get some personal relationships built. There’s nothing beyond letting people meet each other,” he said.
