Gov. John Hickenlooper’s new 21-member oil and gas task force has been named, and now, he said Tuesday, the work begins.
“It’s now a question of rolling up the sleeves and getting to work,” Hickenlooper said in a meeting with reporters to discuss the newly formed task force.
The task force is expected to come up with recommendations for the state legislature that could quell the roiling controversy over oil and gas operations near homes and communities.
