The first signs of the Regional Transportation District’s new bus service, the Free MetroRide, are starting to appear in downtown Denver.
The first bus stop for the new service is getting closer to completion at the corner of Lincoln Avenue and 17th Street, in front of Wells Fargo Center. And the first of 12 buses dedicated to the service is expected to arrive in Denver the week of March 17, RTD spokeswoman Tara Miller said.
The buses will be seen on the streets in coming months as they are tested…
