Insurance money will play a role in paying for the flood recovery and environmental cleanup efforts of Colorado’s oil and gas industry, with state money available as a last resort.
That’s according to Theresa Fadul, a Denver-based senior vice president with IMA Inc. a regional insurance broker and subsidiary of The IMA Financial Group Inc.; and Matt Lepore, the director of the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, the state agency that oversees the industry operations in the state.
