Noble Energy Inc., one of the biggest oil and gas companies working in the Denver-Julesburg Basin north of Denver, has shut “approximately 5 to 10 percent of our locations” in the area due to the state’s flood waters.
Noble (NYSE: NBL), based in Houston, didn’t say Tuesday how many locations the company has in the area.
The company employs about 1,000 people in Colorado and works on about 640,000 acres of mineral rights in northern Colorado.
