Gov. John Hickenlooper’s 21-member oil and gas task force will convene its first formal meeting at 10 a.m. Thursday.
The meeting will be held at the Hunter Education Building at the Colorado Parks and Wildlife office at 6060 Broadway.
Future meetings are scheduled for Durango on Oct. 9 and Rifle on Nov. 5. The task force will return to Denver for a meeting on Dec. 10, according to a webpage set up for the task force on the Colorado Department of Natural Resources’s website.
