State regulators have approved reopening Xcel Energy Inc.’s Solar*Rewards program that handles rebates and incentive payments for rooftop and commercial-sized solar power systems.
The reopening, and the goals in various parts of the program that deal with small and medium-sized solar power systems, will stand until the Colorado Public Utilities Commission approves Xcel’s 2014 plan to acquire renewable energy resources. That approval is expected later this year.
