The Regional Transportation District's "Workforce Initiative Now"(WIN) program, launched about 18 months ago, has put about 100 people to work on some of Denver's biggest infrastructure projects, the agency said Monday in its first overview of the effort’s progress.
The program, the first of its kind in the country, aims to connect contractors working on RTD's projects, such as the FasTracks regional transit system, with job seekers who may not otherwise be considered for an open position.
