A proposal to hike Colorado’s fines on oil and gas companies that violate the state’s regulations on Monday passed the state’s House of Representatives in a bipartisan, 40-22 vote.
The bill, HB 1356, sponsored by Rep. Mike Foote, D-Lafayette, will now be heard in the state’s Senate.
