Vestas Wind Systems announced yet another order for wind turbines Tuesday, making 2013 the Danish manufacturer's second-best year for orders in North America.
Vestas, which has four Colorado factories, announced Tuesday had received an order for 55 of its V100-2.0 megawatt turbines, capable of generating 110 megawatts of electricity. The name of the customer, the location of the wind farm and terms of the deal were not disclosed.
