A Colorado Springs solar power company led by a 26-year-old Colorado College graduate has won contracts to develop three community solar garden projects from Xcel Energy Inc.
SunShare LLC will build the three solar power projects, worth about 4.5 megawatts of power, according to Xcel.
The projects, which are being built under Xcel’s Solar*Rewards Community program, will be in Adams, Jefferson and Denver counties.
