The number of “notable” releases of oil and gas due to damage from Colorado’s floodwaters has risen from two to five, according to the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (COGCC).
The commission, which oversees oil and gas operations in the state, said Friday that the spills it’s been able to measure total about 22,000 gallons of oil — or about 525 barrels of oil.
