A group of investors in Washington, D.C., is talking up a new road project southwest of Parker they say could generate $7.1 billion worth of new homes, retail and office buildings in Douglas County over the next 25 years.
All they need is a road and the support of skeptical local officials.
The road would be 8 miles long, cost about $31.5 million, and would complete East Stroh Road, south of Parker, between North Motsenbocker Road and Interstate 25.
