Coloradans are driving less these days — about 11.4 percent less than in 2005 — according to a new study from the Colorado Public Interest Research Group (CoPIRG).
The study, titled “Moving off the Road” and released Thursday, said “the nation’s long-term driving boom appears to have ended.”

Colorado’s drop in the driving habit was the sixth-largest among the states. Colorado now ranks 14th for the fewest vehicle miles traveled per person.
