Denver International Airport was in the black in 2012, reporting net income of nearly $37.3 million, a swing from a loss of $9.9 million in 2011.
That’s the report that the Denver City Council’s Business, Workforce and Sustainability Committee received Wednesday afternoon from DIA’s CFO, Patrick Heck.
Heck credited the swing in net income to more passengers coming through Denver in 2012, and higher revenues from non-airline activities.
