Adams County commissioners have denied a land-use permit for the proposed Front Range Pipeline, a 435-mile natural gas-liquids (NGLs) line between Colorado and Texas, because it passes through land slated for future development.
The project, announced in April 2012, is backed by Denver’s DCP Midstream LLC, and Anadarko Petroleum Corp. (NYSE: APC), one of the biggest oil and gas companies working in the state with big operations in the Denver-Julesburg Basin, which sprawls north and east of Denver.
