Uber Technologies Inc. is offering a 50 percent cut in prices to users willing to carpool — and walk a block or two.
The San Francisco-based ride-hailing company todayis launching its newest product, dubbed “Express Pool,” to users in the Denver area as well as San Diego and Los Angeles.
Uber users in Washington, Miami and Philadelphia will see the option available on Thursday as part of Uber’s nationwide rollout of Express Pool.
It’s an option that comes close to mimicking bus service…
