Colorado’s plan to boost the use of electric vehicles includes investment in fast chargers, vehicles and signs, Gov. John Hickenlooper said Wednesday in unveiling the plan.
Some of the money will come from the $68.7 million Colorado got as its share of a settlement with Volkswagen over the manufacturer's fudging on emissions tests. Other investments will come from public-private partnerships, and the state itself, according to the plan.
