Shares of Denver-based Liberty Oilfield Services Inc. started trading today, and took off — rising 30 percent on the first day to $21.75 per share when trading closed.
The company earlier said it expected the initial public offering would raise $220.4 million. The company planned to sell 12,731,092 shares of its Class A common stock at a price of $17 per share.
