Jill M. Evans, of Littleton, has been sentenced by a federal judge to spend seven years in federal prison and pay $2,094,500 in restitution in connection with an oil investment scheme.
Evans, 51, was indicted in June 2015 and pleaded guilty to wire fraud and money laundering in late January of this year.
She was sentenced by U.S. District Judge John Kane, acting U.S. Attorney for Colorado Robert Troyer announced today.
