In seven days, on July 22, toll collections will begin on the inside lane of the newly expanded U.S. 36 highway between Federal Boulevard and 88th Avenue.
That same day, both lanes of the I-25 Express Lanes into downtown Denver will be open for solo drivers who want to pay a toll and HOV drivers who have two or more people in their car. Previously HOV drivers on the I-25 Express Lanes had their own lane while solo drivers paying a toll could use the other.
